Potter for the People - From the Muggles

It has been announced that there will be a Quidditch exhibition at the 2012 Olympics in London! Yes, it's true. Alex Benepe of the International Quidditch Association announced this fantastic news:

“In summer 2012 the IQA will organize an expo match in London during the Olympics. The IQA is currently assessing venues, working with media contacts, and reaching out to local teams,” said Benepe. “At minimum, the IQA will organize a UK vs. US match, and may bring additional European teams.”

We're so thrilled to hear that the International Qudditch Association has achieved this milestone in the Muggle Quidditch field! Muggle Quidditch has been growing and growing to the point where over 600 universities and colleges now have quidditch teams. Special thanks to Middleburry College and the International Quidditch Association for starting it all.
