About Me
A host of Potter for the People and a site administrator From Bio: "Sorcerer's Stone was the first "big book" I read when I was a child. I was in first grade and was instantly capitivated by the story of the "Orphan," "Boy from the Cupboard," Harry Potter. J.K. Rowling's rich and suculent writing made me into a young novelist myself. I started writing as soon as I knew how to and I owe that drive to Jo and the Wizarding World she conjured (no pun intended.) I remember being devastated when I had to stop reading the series for a while because the fifth book, frankly weighed more than I did at the time. When I picked up the series again I was older and appreciated Jo's work even more. Of course, this resulted in many rereads and (when the movies came out) re-watches. I indulged in all the fan events such as book premieres and movie premieres. Many times these events included dressing up as an eager Hogwarts student. And of course, no "Harry Potter Fan Anecdote" can be complete without that faithful day of dissappointment: The 11th Birthday, when, no, I did not receive my Hogwarts letter (the only thing I asked Santa for that year...) After I got over that shock, I moved on with my life and just became an obsessive fan, owing all of my successes in writing, literature, and my love for reading to J.K. Rowling. I will forever have a bond with these books as part of my childhood and adulthood, J.K. Rowling, and of course, the wonderful actors and actresses I grew up with from the Harry Potter films. I am now of course, part of Potter for the People. I am also in the midst of writing my own novel." For more information check out my "Hosts" page here.
